Professional Master's in Software Engineering
Do you want to be a software engineering expert for large systems?

With the development of ASEAN markets, Thailand is now poised for massive growth and demand for highly-skilled software engineering professionals. As the industry grows, highly skilled people able to work in senior roles such as software architecture will be increasingly needed for the design, development, and deployment of large systems.

Thailand currently imports the vast majority of its high-paid software engineering workforce from abroad.

Why can’t we produce highly-skilled engineers in this field ourselves?

The financial rewards are great. The career opportunities are vast.

So why not find out more about a new qualification that can take you there.

  • You have already proved your skill with at least three years of professional experience.
  • You have a solid grounding and relevant academic qualification in your field of expertise.
  • You want to advance your career to the next level.
  • You want to gain accreditation and certification to back up your experience to date.

Offered by the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Software Park, the first Professional Master’s degree in Software Engineering (PMSE) using state-of-the-art technology from Carnegie Mellon University should be the next step in your career advancement.

Increased flexibility for PMSE students

To accommodate requests from interested professionals, PMSE is offering participation in its high quality courses to the entire software industry. Now PMSE courses are being offered on an individual basis as short courses at Software Park, evening courses in downtown Bangkok and Saturday courses at AIT. Importantly, every course taken on an individual basis can later be accredited toward a PMSE degree. This allows PMSE students to fully control the progress of their study without disruptions to their work responsibilities.

The courses open in the January 2010 semester are:
